Many employment opportunities exist for qualified state-licensed registered nurses and nurse assistants. Find current RN Jobs, LPN Jobs and CNA Jobs near you and apply online.

Many nurses are over the age of fifty and will be entering retirement soon and leaving the workforce. This will create excellent opportunities for newly licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants to find jobs.

To become a licensed registered nurse there are three different pathways. A bachelor's of science degree in Nursing (BSN) can be obtained from an accredited college or online university and usually takes 4 years to complete. An associate degree in Nursing (ADN) can be completed in about 2-3 years at an accredited community college. A nursing certificate or diploma program can be completed through a qualified hospital and takes around 3 years. After completing one of the above mentioned nursing programs the student must then pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become licensed in the state where they want to practice nursing.
